4th Jun 2020

Hello.

Another week of Home Learning complete.  Can you believe it is Friday again?  The weeks seem to be flying by.  The weather is not as glorious as last week but hopefully you have all had a good week and learnt something new.

We hope you have managed to have a look in the “Lights, Camera, Action” Section of Home Learning.  If for some reason, you thought you should have seen yourself in one of the videos and haven’t, please let Mrs Wells know at ywells497@c2kni.net.  Have a look in the “Look After Yourself” section too as we will be sharing advice from ourselves and other agencies on keeping yourself safe throughout the summer holidays.

Our Virtual Sports’ Day will be happening on Thursday 11th June 2020.  This Monday coming, all the information you need will be posted in a separate section on our Home Learning area. It is envisaged that Thursday 11th June 2020 will be set aside for you to complete the Sports Day fun and no other classwork will be set on this day.  However, we know that some of you will not be able to complete it on that specific day so that’s why we are sending it early to let you practise and then have a few days to complete it and record your results to be returned by the following Tuesday. Please make sure you send a photo through to us of you completing the fun activities so that we can share your enjoyment with our school family via video.

Colin Roden, Sports Development Officer for Mid and East Antrim asked us to make you aware of their Bike Week which is coming up next week. From Monday 8th June they will be releasing bike challenges on their Facebook and Instagram pages on social media, along with suggested cycle routes throughout the Borough. Further information can be found at this email link

It has been great to speak with some of you this week and we will continue to phone you next week – remember this will be a withheld number. Please remember that if you have any queries or questions, do not hesitate your class teacher on their email address.

Have a great weekend.

Take care and stay safe!
